Don't Be Fooled !

Brazilian and Indian Virgin Hair is the best quality hair to use for hair extensions as they do not tangle or go dry. It is the only hair that is of the same hair fibre as our human hair in S.A. AND THE ONLY HAIR THAT IS PERMANENT. 100% Human hair is not permanent as it has to be replaced after two months or even sooner with new hair. WHY? It goes dry because it's mixed with synthetic fibre. You cannot colour or perm this hair. If it is not Brazilian or Indian, it is not real!

HERE ARE A FEW TIPS TO ASK AND LOOK FOR BEFORE YOU HAVE EXTENSIONS DONE. The most important question: Ask to see an import document to see where it has been imported from. If from China, London, England, Russia, Singapore, etc. Then this is human hair not Indian or Brazilian hair! First impressions always count. Is the extensioners working area, brushes, combs and towels clean? Did your consultation with the extensionist impress you? Did she explain everything to you? Did she do a hair test? The first two inches of hair growth from the roots must be in good Condition. Did she explain the do’s and don’ts & the maintenance involved?

Extensions are not recommended on the following hair: poor quality bleached hair, alopecia or chemotherapy treated hair, nor on any hair where the person is on strong medication which could affect hair growth. Did the extensionist check for weak hair and test its elasticity? Is the extensionist qualified to do extensions? If so, ask to see their qualification. Most important is to ask for references going back up to two years. Have they been in business for more that 5 years? Speak to one of her clients. If she has nothing to hide she will show you what you need to know. You as the client pay for that service and you want only the best. It is your right!
(Qualified extensioner/nist must be registered by the S.A. Hair Association with a proven certificate as a hair extensioner/nist.)

The History of Indian Remy Hair.

The majority of the Remy hair is collected from INDIAN TEMPLES.  Women tonsure their hair as an offering to GOD.

This practice is very ancient tradition with more than 3000 years of Indian history and originates from Hindu religion and philosophy and  in the land of Hindus.  The whole idea of tonsuring hair at temples is that the Indian woman is willing to sacrifice her beauty to GOD by removing her hair witch is her most precious personal and possessive belonging.

Using Indian Remy hair solves a number of problems:

The cuticle of this hair is still healthy and intact since it is rare for Indian girls to have any chemical treatment.

Weaving their hair into a plait ensures that it is all aligned and the hair is homogeneous in colour and thickness. This precious and high quality hair provides extremely reliable hair for hair extensions.

The basic structure of Indian hair is very similar to that of our European hair, especially the texture because of the similar origin. These hair cuticles are perfectly aligned in the same direction. As per a world study 100% Indian Natural hair is used all over the world to do high grade hair extensions. It is not always easy to make or find technical information about using real Indian hair.

We hope our overview on the facts of real Human hair sources, treatment and quality helps you to understand the quality of Brazilian and Indian Virgin 100% human hair and to make your decision in an educated manner.
